Stayin Out Late

Why is it so easy to stay up late to hang out with friends and have fun when its so hard to stay up late to do homework?

On a positive sidenote:

I seem to have less of a curfew right now. Soon enough I'll have none! Woohoo!

    one might say, cuz staying up to hang out is fun whereas homework is not. But hey, when homework IS fun, I don't hesitate to stay up and get into it. weirdo, i know.
